Ashley Zammitt is a multimedia designer and producer. She recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s esteemed School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a concentration in visual communication.
Ashley now works as a multimedia developer at Swarm Interactive and has recently been working on freelance motion graphic projects for Talking Eyes Media. She will intern with MSNBC.com’s interactive studio this summer before starting a 10-month program teaching English in Ankara, Turkey for Bilkent University.
Ashley spent the summer of 2009 researching energy topics, producing a motion graphic in After Effects, and designing packages for the UNC’s award-winning News21 project, Powering A Nation.
Beyond design, Ashley’s passions lie in international travel and sustainable development abroad. She has done volunteer work in Uganda and Peru and spent a semester in Seville, Spain.
When she has free time, Ashley enjoys sitting down with a good book, cooking in her teeny tiny kitchen, gardening (although her green thumb has yet to develop), and finding creative inspiration online. To see what Ashley’s been reading lately, click here or check out the links below.
